How to choose

Which one's right for me?

Hourly

If you've just signed up to Xero and need help getting set up, start with Hourly - that's what it's for. Same for one-off catch-ups, migration projects, or training sessions you'd rather book as you need them.

Starter

If you're running a sole trader business and want someone keeping your books in order each month, Starter is designed for that. GST, payroll, tax returns, and the annual review all included.

Plus

If you need to see how your business is actually doing - real reports, real numbers, real visibility - Plus adds the reporting layer. Profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflow, budget. The data you need to make decisions, not just file returns.

Scope, plainly

What's included, and what I refer out.

I'm a bookkeeper - that's what I'm qualified for and that's what I do well. The list of things I don't do is short, but I'd rather you know up front than three months in. Here's the lot.

What I do

  • Xero setup, migration, and trainingGetting you off Hnry, spreadsheets, or whatever you're on - and onto Xero properly.
  • Day-to-day bookkeepingReconciliation, expense coding, and keeping your books tidy month to month.
  • GST returnsFiled on time, every cycle - with the claims you didn't know you could make.
  • PAYE, payroll, KiwiSaver, ACCStaff paid right, compliance kept current, legislation changes tracked.
  • Sole trader end-of-year returnsPrepped throughout the year, not crammed in March.
  • Annual reviewWhat changed, what to claim, what to plan for next year.
  • Monthly or quarterly reportingPlus tier - profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflow, and budget.

What I refer out

  • Ltd company end-of-year - That's accountant territory. I'll help you find a good one if you don't already have one.
  • Audit and tax-agent work - Different qualifications, different scope.
  • Software subscriptions - Xero, Hubdoc, and similar tools are billed by the provider, not me.
Common questions

Questions I get asked a lot.

  • Yes, any time. The packages are designed so you can start small and step up as you need to - or step down if your needs change. We'll have a chat first to make sure the move makes sense for what you're running.
